Salt Water and Spear Tips – An evening with Thor. F. Jensen
Danish adventurer Thor. F. Jensen and three Papuan master
sailors from Milne Bay Province set out to circumnavigate the Island of New
Guinea in a traditional sailing canoe called Tawali Pasana – sailed and
equipped by traditional means.
After 13 months of high adventure, danger and friendship the ‘Fellowship of
the Tawali Pasana’ sailed into the history books. An account of those
extraordinary 6300 kms at sea can now be told.
